In the City, you don't pass by people; you
just pass by shadows.
People crossing the
roads, walking around you and even passing
by you
transfer like illusions. As you approach buildings, they seem more
colorful and less
defined.
In the city, you can't recognize faces or places;
only the person you
mean to meet will have a
face; and only the building you are heading
for
will have a shape. Only when they are away, they
are traced like
figures. Streets are drawn by
paths that people define through their
routs,
and places are defined by horizons that are
limited to people's
perceive.
It is the city where colors, shapes and thoughts
are mixed up, figures
are only defined in our
vision and mind - it is New York..
